Add a wealth / investing feature
Let users invest in stocks, ETFs or funds. Below is the product stack you need, with verified European providers for each layer - compare by EEA data residency, licence and regulator.
How the stack fits together
An investing feature needs a regulated partner that holds client assets and executes orders - brokerage-as-a-service - plus onboarding that adds the MiFID II suitability or appropriateness test on top of standard KYC. The partner's licence matters more than its API: it decides which instruments, markets and customer types you may offer, and where client assets are held if something goes wrong.
Step 1 — Brokerage / investing API required
Brokerage-as-a-service and wealth APIs (custody, execution).
What to check: Ask which licence and custodian hold client assets, which instruments are available - ETFs, stocks, fractional shares, funds - and in which countries the service is passported.

Step 2 — Verify customers required
Onboarding, suitability and AML.
What to check: Confirm the provider runs the MiFID II suitability or appropriateness test, not only identity checks.

- iDenfy EU core Lithuania

Sovereignty notes
- EU-core brokerage-as-a-service (Upvest, Lemon Markets...) keeps custody and control in the EEA - vs US infra (Alpaca/DriveWealth).
