Editorial & data policy

How entries are created, how we stay neutral, and how content is kept separate from money. Neutrality isn't a slogan here — it's the product.

Zero pay-to-rank

No provider can buy a higher position, a better badge, or a place on a buyer's shortlist. The catalogue order and any objective filter are independent of commercial relationships. If we ever introduce paid placements (clearly labelled) or charge providers for qualified introductions, those will never alter the objective ranking or the facts shown.

How entries are created

We add and maintain entries ourselves. Each provider is verified at source — licence type, regulator and a registry reference — and carries a verification date. We do not publish unverified claims as fact, and we don't copy provider marketing as if it were independent fact.

Status, risk and fairness

Where we publish status or risk notes about live companies, they are factual summaries from public sources, dated, and limited to what we could confirm. Every company can ask us to review an entry via report a correction; we verify corrections at source before changing anything.

Insights and analysis

Articles and data analyses are grounded in the catalogue and cite their sources. Where something is uncertain, we say so rather than guess. Analysis is editorially independent of any commercial relationship.

Separation of content and monetization

The business model (introductions, and potentially premium provider features) is deliberately built so it cannot bias the directory. Visibility or lead-generation may be offered to providers; ranking integrity is not for sale. This separation is what makes Fintechnologica worth citing.

Corrections and updates

We re-verify on a cadence and update the status column as things change. Material corrections are reflected in the entry's verification date. Found a problem? Tell us.
