What changed in European fintech infrastructure
A short monthly email from the data behind this site: licences granted and withdrawn, ownership changes, providers that went quiet, and the analyses we publish. Written for people who buy this infrastructure, not for a newsfeed.
What you get
- Status and ownership changes from the catalogue — the same signal that feeds the Radar: acquisitions, licence withdrawals, providers that stopped operating.
- Register movements — what changed in the official ESMA, EBA and FCA registers behind the licence index, currently 2,579 authorised entities.
- New analyses and guides — whenever we publish something drawn from the 540 verified profiles, such as who really issues local IBANs, or what a BIN sponsor costs.
No vendor press releases, no sponsored placements — the same rule as the catalogue itself: nothing here can be bought. See our editorial & data policy.
FAQ
How often does the newsletter go out?
Monthly at most, and only when the underlying data gives us something worth sending - a licence granted or withdrawn, an ownership change, a provider that stopped operating, or a new analysis drawn from the verified catalogue. There is no publishing schedule to fill.
What happens to my email address?
It is used for this newsletter and nothing else: no sharing, no reselling, no lead lists, and it is never mixed with the enquiries people send through the match request form. Subscribing requires confirming by email, and every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe.
Is the newsletter sponsored?
No. The same rule applies as to the catalogue: nothing here can be bought. No vendor press releases, no paid placements and no affiliate links - what appears is what the register and verification work turned up.
