1. Who we are (data controller)
Mikolaj Slezak Digital Marketing Consulting (sole proprietorship / jednoosobowa dzialalnosc gospodarcza), al. Jana Pawla II 27, 00-867 Warszawa, Poland. NIP 5851447962, REGON 383658004. Contact: [email protected]. We operate Fintechnologica, a matchmaking service for European fintech infrastructure providers.
2. What data we collect
- RFP / contact form: the information you submit - your need, target markets, EEA requirement, email address and any context you add.
- Newsletter: your email address and, if you give it, your role. Subscription is confirmed by email (double opt-in) - we never add anyone silently.
- Analytics: aggregated, cookieless usage statistics (e.g. page views). We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or build personal profiles.
3. Why we use it & legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
To provide the service you requested - reading your RFP and introducing you to suitable providers. Legal basis: performance of a service at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in operating the platform (Art. 6(1)(f)). Newsletter: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), confirmed by email and withdrawable at any time. Analytics: legitimate interest in improving the site (no personal data).
4. Who we share it with
When you submit an RFP, we share the relevant details with the small number of providers we shortlist for you, so they can respond. We do not sell your data, and we never move an address between purposes: people who send an enquiry are not added to the newsletter, and newsletter subscribers are not treated as leads.
Processors we use: Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc. - hosting and the function that receives form submissions), Brevo (Sendinblue SA, France - delivery of form notifications and the newsletter, and storage of the submission), Google / Gmail (our mailbox), Plausible (Plausible Insights OÜ, EU - cookieless, EU-hosted analytics; no personal data, no cross-site tracking).
5. Retention
We keep RFP data only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable follow-up - up to 24 months - then delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe; every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
6. International transfers
We aim to keep data within the EEA, and we apply that to ourselves: form submissions are handled by a European provider (Brevo, France) rather than a US form service, and analytics are EU-hosted. Hosting runs on Cloudflare, which is US-based; where a processor is outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing. Email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO) or your local data protection authority.
8. Cookies
This site uses no cookies and no advertising trackers - so there is no cookie banner.
